We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care across various clinical settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
- Assist in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for diverse medical conditions
- Administer medications and perform procedures such as phlebotomy and pain management interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately using electronic medical records systems like Epic and Cerner
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including pediatrics, acute care, and home care services
- Collect data for research purposes to support clinical studies and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide patient education on health management and medication adherence
- Support hospital and outpatient clinic operations with medical office tasks and documentation
Skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Cerner
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Experience in hospital settings, acute care, or pediatrics is highly desirable
- Skilled in research methodologies and data collection techniques
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and medication administration accurately
- Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication abilities
- Familiarity with pain management protocols and home care practices
- Prior experience in medical office environments or healthcare facilities is preferred
- Must be licensed with CPSO for physician assistants
